NightLife in Jaipur

All night parties and strobe discotheques are not among the images commonly associated with Rajasthan. Some of the great things about traveling are being able to check out the different types of night culture that other countries have. Rajasthan's nightlife is diverse and growing.

Pubs, Bars and Clubs

As drinking traditionally isn't part of India's culture, the region's bars tend to be divided into two categories –- cheap, local bars and classier venues catering to the progressive middle and upper class crowd. Hence latter can only be found in major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata etc. Nightlife within the region has a long way to go and one must say this because the potential is huge. An average of 1.5 million foreign tourists come to the city every season (October to March) and many more come from within India on business and they all need a place to go hangout in the evening. And to top it all, with the kind of exquisite locations it has to offer, Jaipur can be an international destination very soon. Large clubs that are exempt from the ban are usually only found in 5-star international hotel complexes and sometime in shopping malls.
